We are pleased to announce the launch of the new CEGER website at ceger.org. This is an important milestone for our organisation as we strengthen our digital presence and make it easier for clients, partners, and the public to learn about our work.
The Centre for Governance and Environmental Research (CEGER) Ltd has always been committed to delivering high-quality consultancy services. Our new website reflects that commitment by providing a modern, accessible platform where visitors can explore our services, review our project portfolio, and stay informed through regular insights and updates.
Why a New Website
In today’s connected world, a strong digital presence is essential for any organisation that wants to reach a broader audience. Our clients and partners span multiple countries and sectors. They need a reliable way to learn about our capabilities, review our track record, and get in touch when opportunities arise.
The new website serves as a central hub for everything CEGER does. It showcases the breadth of our expertise across governance, environmental research, public health, climate change, and monitoring and evaluation. It also demonstrates our commitment to transparency by sharing detailed information about our projects, our team, and our approach.
We designed the site with accessibility and usability at its core. Whether you are visiting from a desktop computer in a university office or a mobile phone in the field, the site delivers a fast, clean experience that puts the information you need within easy reach.
What You Will Find on ceger.org
The website is organised around the areas that matter most to our clients and partners.
Our Services. We offer expert consultancy across six core service areas: Environmental Health and Safety, Public Health Policy and Advocacy, Climate Change, Research, Monitoring and Evaluation, and Corporate Training. Each service page explains what we offer, who we serve, and why clients choose CEGER.
Project Portfolio. Our projects page presents a growing collection of completed and ongoing engagements. From multi-year international research collaborations with American universities to local baseline surveys and digital communication assessments, each project page tells the story of the work we have delivered and the results we have achieved.
Meet the Team. CEGER’s strength lies in its people. Our team page introduces the professionals behind the work, their qualifications, their areas of expertise, and the experience they bring to every engagement. We employ a multi-talented team that combines deep local knowledge with international standards and partnerships.
Blog and Insights. This blog is where we share our thinking on the issues that matter to our sectors. Expect regular articles on governance, environmental research, public health, climate change, and evaluation practice. We aim to contribute meaningfully to the conversations shaping policy and practice across Africa.
Our Commitment to Sharing Knowledge
Launching this website is about more than marketing. It is about knowledge sharing. CEGER was founded on the belief that rigorous research, transparent processes, and genuine partnership drive responsible development. Our blog is an extension of that philosophy.
We will use this platform to publish thought leadership on topics such as citizen engagement and governance accountability, environmental health and climate resilience, public health policy in East Africa, and best practices in monitoring and evaluation. Our goal is to contribute useful, evidence-based perspectives that inform decision-making at every level.
We also recognise that knowledge flows in both directions. We welcome feedback, questions, and collaboration from readers who share our commitment to evidence-based solutions. The best ideas often emerge from dialogue, and we look forward to building a community of practice around the issues we care about.
About CEGER
For those encountering us for the first time, CEGER is a registered consultancy firm established in Uganda in 2024. Our full name, the Centre for Governance and Environmental Research, reflects the dual focus that defines our work: the “green” expertise of environmental science and the “grey” expertise of governance, policy, and institutional development.
We operate through three core divisions: Programmes Coordination, Monitoring and Evaluation, and Finance and Administration. Our team includes specialists in public health, environmental science, governance, data analysis, and capacity building. We are trusted by clients including the University of California, Santa Barbara, the University of Virginia, Brigham Young University, Evaluasi LLC, Precision Media Uganda, and several Ugandan government authorities.

Looking Ahead
The launch of this website is just the beginning. We have several exciting developments planned for the coming months.
We are building an electoral issues tracker, an interactive tool that will use mapping technology to visualise governance and electoral data across Uganda. This feature will make important public information more accessible and easier to understand.
Our project portfolio will continue to grow as we document new engagements and share the results of our work. We are also expanding our social media presence to complement the website and create more opportunities for engagement with our audience.
We are committed to keeping this site up to date with fresh content, new project case studies, and regular blog posts that reflect the latest developments in our fields of expertise.
