Anthony Kahwamu is a Consultant in Governance and Public Policy and an experienced researcher who has contributed to a number of CEGER’s past and ongoing research projects. He has advised numerous political and civic organisations across Uganda on strategy, public mobilisation, and policy analysis.

Anthony pairs field research with hands-on programme leadership. He previously served as a lecturer and Head of Programmes at YMCA, where he designed and implemented community-development projects in Mukono, Buikwe, and neighbouring districts — grounding his work in the realities of community engagement, citizen participation, and institutional strategy.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Vocational Studies (Business Studies with Education) from Kyambogo University and is currently pursuing the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
