Programs Coordinator — Public Health
John Wycliff Byona coordinates CEGER’s public health programmes, bringing 14 years of experience in health research, community engagement, and programme coordination. He holds a Masters degree in Community Planning and has contributed to published research in the Pan African Medical Journal.
John’s expertise spans health surveys and audits, training and capacity building, community health engagement, and health policy advisory. He has led field research teams across urban and rural settings in Uganda, building a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing public health systems in East Africa.
At CEGER, John manages the end-to-end delivery of public health consultancy and research projects, from study design and data collection through to analysis, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
