6. Governance Map Data and API Usage
CEGER Ltd provides interactive governance maps for Uganda and the African continent, along with public REST APIs that allow programmatic access to governance-related data. Use of this data and these APIs is subject to the following terms:
Data provided as-is. All governance map data is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. CEGER Ltd makes reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy and currency of the data but does not warrant that it is complete, accurate, up to date, or free from errors. Data may be derived from publicly available sources, third-party datasets, and CEGER’s own research, and may be subject to revision without notice.
Attribution required. If you use, display, or redistribute governance map data obtained from this Website or its APIs, you must provide clear and prominent attribution to CEGER Ltd. A suitable attribution notice is: “Data source: Centre for Governance and Environmental Research (CEGER) Ltd — https://ceger.org”. You may not claim the data as your own original work.
No misrepresentation. You may not present governance map data in a manner that is misleading, deceptive, or that misrepresents the findings, scope, or conclusions of the underlying data. You may not alter the data in a way that distorts its meaning and then attribute the altered data to CEGER Ltd.
